Privacy Policy

Who We Are

Our website address is https://seoprovider.org.

Comments

When a visitor leaves a comment on the site, we collect the data displayed in the comment form and the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help us detect spam.

An anonymised string (also known as a hash) generated from your email address may be provided to the SEO Provider to verify that you are using it. The SEO Provider privacy policy can be found here: https://seoprovider.org/privacy-policy/. If your comment is approved, your profile picture will be visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to your website, you should avoid uploading images that contain location data (EXIF GPS). Website visitors can download and extract location data from images on the website.

Cookies

When you leave a comment on our site, you can choose to have your name, email address and website stored in a cookie. This is for your convenience so that you don’t have to re-enter your details when you leave another comment. This cookie will last for one year.

When you visit the login page, we set a temporary cookie to check that your browser accepts cookies. This cookie does not contain any personal data and is deleted when you close your browser.

When you log in, we also set a number of cookies to store your login information and screen display choices. The login cookie lasts for two days and the screen options cookie lasts for one year. If you select “Remember me”, your login will be retained for two weeks. Login cookies are removed when you log out of your account.

When you edit or publish a post, an additional cookie is stored in your browser. This cookie does not contain any personal data and only shows the post ID of the post you just edited. This cookie expires after 1 day.

Embedded Content from Other Websites

Posts on this site may contain embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in exactly the same way as if the visitor had visited the other website.

Those websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interactions with that embedded content, including tracking your interactions with that embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Who We Share Your Data With

If you request a password reset, we will include your IP address in the reset email.

How Long we Retain Your Data

When you leave a comment, we retain that comment and its metadata indefinitely. This is so that we can automatically recognise and approve subsequent comments without holding them in a moderation queue.

For users who register on our websites, we also store the personal information they provide (if any) in their user profiles. All users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (but cannot change their username). Website administrators can also view and edit that information.

Your Rights Over Your Data

If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request to receive an export file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we delete the personal data we hold about you. This does not include data that we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal or security purposes.

Where Your Data is Transferred to

Visitor comments may be checked by automated spam detection services.
